Gum chewing at the G20
This is embarrassing. The President of the United States looks like an unpopular kid at a high school dance in the early seconds of the video below, circling around the more popular kids, chewing gum. I suppose it is Nicorette gum, but we don't know because the President's addiction to cigarettes is one of those topics on which the media feigns complete disinterest.
Given his willingness to appear before the world's media chewing gum, he must be dealing with some pretty severe nicotine withdrawal. Either that, or he was smoking his cigs before comign out onstage, and switched to gum in order to stay calm.
If the President is seriously addicted to nicotine, is that something the public deserves to know about?
