It burns me that the President and the members of Congress plan to reduce my contribution to Social Security and then insult my intelligence by telling me they have cut my taxes.  I can understand why they see no difference between FICA contributions and income tax receipts based on years of their co-mingling these funds and using both income streams to fund expensive programs including rich pension and health care plans for Congressmen & Senators.  Americans, however, are well aware that there is a big difference.

But that's not all.  After reducing contributions to Social Security they then tell me and others in my generation that we have not saved enough to fund our retirement.
