War is still hell
Rep. Allen West (R-FL) is one of the few members of Congress who has actually served in America's Armed Forces, retiring as a lieutenant colonel. Commenting to the Weekly Standard on the video of Marines urinating on Taliban corpses, he reminded everyone
"All these over-emotional pundits and armchair quarterbacks need to chill. Does anyone remember the two Soldiers from the 101st Airborne Division who were beheaded and gutted in Iraq
before recommending severe punishment, ending with a powerful order and and another needed reminder from one who has been there.
"As for everyone else, unless you have been shot at by the Taliban, shut your mouth, war is hell."
