AT Contributor Jason McNew to seek seat in Pennsylvania House

America has become a de-facto Social Democracy, trying to operate with a Constitution designed for a Liberal Democracy.

America is in the throes of an identity crisis.  While the term "Liberal Democracy" has long fallen out of use, Liberal Democracy is exactly the political system which was laid forth in our Constitution.  Through a long, slow, steady process of new taxation and incremental increases, America has become a de-facto Social Democracy, trying to operate with a Constitution designed for a Liberal Democracy.  It is precisely this fact which is responsible for the total gridlock in our halls of governance.

Social Democracy is fundamentally unworkable, because it shuns free markets and is unable to generate the wealth necessary to support it's own social mandates.  While Liberal Democracy is imperfect, it's ability to foster incredible wealth creation cannot be denied.  There must be prosperity before there can be human comfort.

As few politicians understand this, I have decided to run for a seat in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, District 193.  The incumbent is Representative Will Tallman.
