Especially choice is the reply from a GM spokesperson: the Japanese and Korean governments give bigger subsidies -- sorry, "investments" -- to their battery manufacturers, "investments" that exhibit "foresight and innovation leadership" [sic]. Then The GM representative  says the "Mackinac Center's math was 'simple and selective'" without offering complex and comprehensive math to rebut it.
