Occupy Fannie Mae, anyone?
Graft and incompetence continue unabated at Fannie and Freddie
After misusing a $169 billion bailout, then paying out $13 million in bonuses, Freddie and Fannie have the audacity to request another $6 billion from taxpayers.
Hot on the heals of reports that the troubled, federalized mortgage holders Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac just doled out a total of $13 million in bonuses, comes the rather unsettling news that they have followed that act of blatant financial tomfoolery with a request that taxpayers provide another $6 billion for them to fritter away.
In the bizarro world where we currently reside, that actually sounds quite reasonable to me. Occupy Fannie anyone?
