The Racism Racists
Is it racist to question hyper-secretive President Obama about his birth, education, religion, finances, associates, work experience or paper trail as the U.S. Constitution provides, tradition dictates, and common sense requires? The Left seems to think so. The unspoken assertion behind these charges is that any questioning of Barack Hussein Obama, no matter the topic, reason or motive, is racist, simply because he is black.
It seems the Left has chosen its 2012 presidential campaign theme: racism. But a legitimate question to ask is: who are the real racists? The Democratic Party, after all, has a poor record on civil rights, as has been well documented (1) . And the New Deal and Great Society programs have been shown by well-respected black economists such as Walter Williams and Thomas Sowell to have destroyed the black family (2). The signature cause of the Left, abortion, in essence exterminated one-half of the black people who ever existed in America (3). And the Left's economic plan, underpinned by illegal immigration and the minimum wage, destroy entry level jobs for blacks and block them from the lowest rungs on the ladder of success; while Card Check keeps them beholden to their white masters in the labor unions (4). Meanwhile the lily-white grandees of the Democratic Party (Pelosi, Reed, Biden, Kerry, Dean, Gore, the Clintons) plot to keep their docile black voters down on the Lefty plantation-of-the-mind (5). Thus a solid case can be made that it is the Left who are the racists. Yet, ironically, they are the very ones who are so viciously playing the race card today.
It seems Attorney General Eric Holder will get his wish for a debate on race in the upcoming presidential sweepstakes. Let us, therefore, proclaim a new rule for this debate: to those who would use the charge of racism, without evidence, to stifle honest differences, demagogue, and to gratuitously hurt or harm their opponent; or to blackmail, intimidate or bully white people and conservatives for no other reason than crass political expediency, as has been done so often in the past; or to obfuscate the many true examples of unfair and illegal reverse racism...it is you who are the vile, disgusting and cowardly racists.
So, bring it on, now, Lefties. With our new definition of racism leveling the playing field, let us engage in an honest debate on race to find out, once and for all, where the evil racists in America really reside.
