Mika Brzezinski knows a housekeeper's value: less than the IMF's managing director
I was going through my morning routine of switching between Morning Joe and Fox and Friends as I got ready for the office this morning. What I saw and heard on Morning Joe made me sick and angry. Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski laughing it up over the sexual assault charges brought against Dominique Strauss-Kahn, managing director of the IMF. Joe kept saying, "Oh come on," as if he could not believe these charges. Then there is Mika; you would think that a woman might at least give the benefit of the doubt to the victim. Not Mika she just laughs along. Mika's new book "Knowing Your Value" is suppose to help women to know their worth I guess in Mika's world a housekeeper is just worth less than an IMF head.
The guy might very well be innocent, but let the process work. If the victim had been a well-known socialite or her own daughter, would Mika have been laughing? The 32 year old housekeeper is someone's daughter.
Once again the elite show us the two worlds they perceive. Just goes to show us that value and worth is placed on position not human life itself.
