Geithner to tap federal pensions
Perhaps SEIU or ACORN could start up a protest over this as well.
The Obama administration will begin to tap federal retiree programs to help fund operations after the government lost its ability Monday to borrow more money from the public, adding urgency to efforts in Washington to fashion a compromise over the debt.
This should make Governor Scott Walker look like an angel in comparison, in their eyes.
This is like a bank robber pointing a gun at his own head and taking himself hostage.
I have no civil response to this news except to say: "Go ahead Tim, but let's start with your pension first." Perhaps federal employees will begin to see the seriousness of the game of chicken being played by our financial elites with our nation. This is a shame, and it really smacks of being grossly unjust.
Yet, perhaps is will serve as a wake up call.
We do not have a revenue problem. We have a spending problem.
