Feeding the Crocodile
President Obama has now embraced the Bush doctrine to bring democracy to the Middle East. This is to be accomplished by extolling, apologizing and, most importantly, by giving up allies' territory and our money.
Obama proposes billions for " how the world should be." Now, it is highly unlikely that Obama will be able to wrangle another dime out of this Congress but that won't stop the Community-Organizer-In-Chief, President Get-a-Grant, from demanding another huge increase in his Federal Reserve Credit Card limit to appease the righteous anger of the Ummah and all the meddling and disrespect they have endured at the hands of Dar al-Harb.
Ron Paul's "Stop buying friends overseas, save $6 billion!" is making more and more sense every day. All this aid has really made the world love us? The new mantra from the President of Humanitarian Intervention is "billions for tribute but not one cent for defense." Oh, and throw in some territory to boot.
O-pocalypse Now keeps reminding me of my finger wagging high school principle admonishing us about how the world should be. Then I see him at the helm of the HMS Beagle lecturing the fauna and wagging his finger about how they should behave. Then I see Hope-a-Dope as Don Quixote with Sancho Panza (Biden) tilting at oil rigs, SUVs, incandescent light bulbs, fat cats and lumpen-tea-party-proletariat while riding his lop-eared donkey called "Taxes." All these competing visions. But basically His policy comes down to feeding the crocodile:
"To sit back hoping that someday, some way, someone will make things right is to go on feeding the crocodile, hoping he will eat you last - but eat you he will." Ronald Regan
