Hollywood Chilly to U.N. Plea for Global Warming Push
During Oscar weekend, the U.N.'s head honcho Ban Ki-moon, traveled to a very cold Los Angeles to find someone (anyone!) who would champion the now discredited global warming money grab. The Los Angeles Times reported that the cold shoulder he received from the movie industry corresponded with some snow in the usually weather friendly land of Make Believe. See the side-by-side news clips here and here.
Ban's trip was not a total failure: the seldom-heard rock group Linkin Park said they would pick up the nearly extinguished global warming torch, despite the admission by Ban that he is more of "an Elvis kind of guy."
