If...
If we cannot have a serious, public discussion of the effects of his homosexuality on PFC Bradley Manning's reveal of our secret communications to Wikileaks, then we cannot be having a serious, public discussion of the effects of abandoning "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" on our military. What is our Congress thinking?
If we cannot have a serious, public discussion of the effect of his Muslim religion on Major Nidal Hasan's massacre of his fellow soldiers at Fort Hood, then we are not serious about defeating an enemy in battle. What is our military doing?
Our nation is stumbling about in a dangerous world led by a willfully blind administration. The Wikileaks debacle puts a magnifying glass on it. Homeland Security puts an exclamation mark on it by yelling, "Wolf! Wolf!" then sending the TSA out to turn us into sheeple at airports. What's next for our great country? More sheeple training at shopping malls and sporting events?
Our self-imposed "politically correct" folly leaves us blindfolded and hamstrung amongst the wolves of the world-who are increasingly snarling and showing their teeth. Our only response is to try and fill their mouths with trillions of dollars printed out of thin air. I doubt our nation can survive two more years of this angry usurper and fraud as POTUS. The best we can hope for in our current trajectory is a gentle and orderly decline into oblivion. I wonder -- is that what all those unconstitutional, unaccountable "czars" are planning?
Keep going this way and we're doomed. The wolves know it. It's time we faced it. I believe more and more patriotic citizens are reading our United States Constitution and thinking. I know we voted loud and clear last November, but we have to speak up again and now to continue the public discussion with Congress, the military, and the administration. What they are proposing blows away the foundational assumptions of our nation! Stand Up Patriotic Men! Make your voices heard! Stand Up Stalwart Pioneer Women! Keep guarding the hearth and heartbeat of America! We cannot be ashamed to fight for our traditional American values! We are not sheeple! Yet. We were the greatest, most prosperous, most generous nation in the world. We can still be that shining beacon of hope. What we need is a change in the pilot and in the direction that our airplane-of-state is headed. We need to reclaim Todd Beamer's prayer and then shout--America, "Let's Roll!"
