Hateful Helen Thomas continues to spew her anti-Semitic poison
Just prior to attending an unveiling ceremony for her bust at the Arab American National Museum, 90 year-old hate monger Helen Thomas addressed an adoring crowd of 300 like-minded anti-Semites in Dearborn, Michigan. The Detroit Free Press reports that the daughter of Lebanese immigrants stood by the anti-Semitic rant that she unleashed last June. In a reversal from her post-rant semi-apologetic statement Ms. Thomas spewed her poison before a partisan audience.
In a speech that drew a standing ovation, Thomas talked about “the whole question of money involved in politics.”“We are owned by propagandists against the Arabs. There’s no question about that. Congress, the White House, and Hollywood, Wall Street, are owned by the Zionists. No question in my opinion. They put their money where their mouth is…We’re being pushed into a wrong direction in every way.”[…]Asked by the Free Press how she would respond to those who say she’s anti-Semitic, Thomas said:“I’d say I’m a Semite, What are you talking about? Who are you?”
Ms. Thomas also claimed that it was Menacham Begin “who created terrorism.” Despite the Obama administration’s pro-Muslim foreign policy agenda, Thomas branded Presidential Advisor on the Middle-East Dennis Ross a Zionist saying “Obama, he puts in charge for the Arab world a Zionist like Dennis Ross.”
Consequences of Helen Thomas latest outrage were swift. According to examiner.com:
Wayne State University will no longer give students the Helen Thomas Spirit of Diversity Award, due to comments she’s made, which the school considers “anti-Semitic.”In a statement released Friday, the school emphasized its support of “free speech and open dialogue,” but condemned the veteran Washington journalist for making “anti-Semitic remarks.”
Last June after being captured on video by Rabbi David Nessenoff during a brief interview, Thomas insane rant in which she said the Jews should “get the hell out of Palestine” and “go home” to Poland and Germany led to her termination by Hearst Newspapers. Ms. Thomas later issued a written statement in which she said “I deeply regret my comments I made last week regarding the Israelis and the Palestinians.”
Apparently Hateful Helen and her supporters felt that she needed to clarify her true feelings. Is it a mere coincident that this latest rant was staged during Hanukkah?
