Arab fears of Iran fall on deaf ears in the US
The WikiLeaks fiasco has recently revealed that even the anti-semitic Islamic countries in the Middle East are supportive of a military strike against the Islamic Republic of Iran. Iran's growing strength and quest for the nuclear bomb has the entire region desiring the regime's collapse. Nations like Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Kuwait and Egypt are part of the unofficial coalition.
If Israel were to attack Iran it would have the support, albeit behind closed doors, of the Islamic nations that were just cited.
Saudi Arabia in particular has been revealed to be pretty adamant about its desire to topple the Iranian regime. As Reuters reports, King Abdullah has "frequently exhorted the U.S. to attack Iran to put an end to its nuclear weapons program." According to The Times, Saudi Arabia has even offered Israel its airspace to attack Iran.
So in the midst of a tsunami of countries wishing the Iranian regime's collapse, what then is stopping the Iranian threat from being squashed?
FrontPage Magazine reports that: "Interestingly, the WikiLeaks cables indicate that the party most opposed to a military strike on Iran's nuclear sites is the United States."
Saudi Arabia, a barbaric Islamic nation who sponsors anti-semitism and terrorism wants to destroy the biggest threat to the free world while the United States, the greatest country in the world, under Pres. Barack Obama is forcing Israel to pull its punches. The perversion of the situation must not be lost here.
If Pres. Obama continues to strong-arm Israel, a recognition that Iran is capable of building a bomb may be the only factor that pushes Israel to finally end the Iranian threat.
