Keep looking Mr. Holder - I'm sure there's somewhere you can hold your civilian terror trials

It looks like you can scratch New York as a venue for civilian terror trials.

Miami Herald:

New York Gov.-elect Andrew Cuomo says he's against trying the professed mastermind of the Sept. 11 terror attacks in his state.

The Democrat addressed the matter for the first time in an interview with radio host John Gambling on Thursday, a day after Attorney General Eric Holder said the Obama administration was close to deciding where to prosecute Khalid Sheik Mohammed.

Cuomo simply said ``no'' when asked for his opinion about whether Mohammed should be tried in New York. When asked if he would fight to keep the trial away, Cuomo said yes.

A competent attorney general would have had a venue for the trials locked up before even making an announcement on the matter. But Holder and Obama were so eager to show the world how very wrong was George Bush in trying these monsters via a military tribunal that they forgot a few details when they made their grand pronouncement; namely, what town or city in their right mind would host a trial that would act as a magnet for every two bit terrorist in the world.

Yes, but remember - they're smarter than us.
