Saudi diplomat seeking asylum: 'My life is in danger'
A Saudi diplomat says he could face political persecution - or worse - after Saudi officials discovered he was gay and was close friends with a Jewish woman.
Thomas Lifson adds:
This incident will pose a real problem for the Obama administration, which loves to cozy up to (and bow before) Saudi power.
The fact that it is no ordinary citizen, but rather an official of the Saudi government, makes it even harder to offend Obama's Arab patrons, who paid for his expensive Harvard education, according to legendary New York Democrat leader, Percy Sutton (former borough president of Manhattan):
Gays and Jews are two of the most reliable sources of spport for Obama and the Democrats. One must suspect that Rahm Emanuel is calling these groups and asking them to keep silent on the issue of asylum for a gay, Jew-friendly Saudi diplomat.
