Waking the Sleeping Giant in One Year
I realized this morning that it has been one year since my run in with Senator Arlen Specter at a town hall. This year has flown by. Who could have realized the events which would have occurred as a result of that fateful day?
I have had individuals tell me this past year that one person cannot make a difference. I know the amazing power of one. One voice can make a difference. This year a 30 year incumbent, Arlen Specter-(D) PA was finally voted out of office. This year a movement of conservatives finally realized that they can no longer sit idly by on the sidelines as our government spins out of control. This year I knew that I could in fact make change happen from the confines of my town Lebanon, PA.
I have travelled the country speaking to various Patriot groups and organizations. I have spoken about the power of one and how each and every one of us needs to step outside of our comfort zone in order to restore this country to its Constitutional foundation of limited government.
I encourage each of you to talk to neighbors, make phone calls or go door to door for a candidate you support. We need to encourage swing voters to vote against this Marxist agenda that has been rammed down our throats.
Believe in the power of one. Multiplied across the nation it will make a resounding impact.
Katy Abram is the town hall attendee who confronted Sen. Arlen Specter and told him he had "awakend a sleeping giant." She can be followed on Twitter and www.katyabram.com.
