I know that I'm only one of tens of millions of Americans who had developed a seriously negative visceral response (that's a nice way of saying it made me want to puke) to that bit of political pandering by the time the Clinton administration had moved on. However, one of the Clinton's favorite minority politico's, Bill Richardson, half-Hispanic and full-blooded  crook made it the focal point of his campaign and his administration when elected to the governorship of New Mexico almost eight years ago.

Or so we were to believe. Richardson's term-limited out this year and it's a good thing or there might be a hanging in this state. Even the libs don't like this crook, not only for his crass corruption but also because of his abject failure when it came to improving the lot of New Mexico's children.

Back in May we got a report showing that after seven and a half years of rule by Big Bill, children in the state still were not learning to read, a situation Wiley Willy had expressly promised to remedy years ago. Ashamedly, we ranked 49^th in the nation after eight years of Big Bill's Democrat programs throwing more and more money at the teachers' unions.

Last week we got another kick in the teeth from a report that showed New Mexico had in the past year slipped from 43^rd to 46^th among the states in the overall rating system for child welfare. We ranked from dead last in some categories such as teen birth rates to 47^th in high school dropout rates. For the children? Yeah right, Bill. Yeah right, Democrats.

Why should all this local New Mexico stuff be important to American Thinker readers? Just remember that in 2008, Big Bill Richardson was a Democrat presidential candidate, the favorite minority son of many prominent Democrats, running right up there with John Edwards, until Obama made his move. Sorry Bill but he's darker than you and to Democrats, color counts, Bubba. Even while then out of the running, Bill was still on the short list for a cabinet post in either Hillary's or Obama's administrations.

That was until the federal examination of Bill's own corrupt administration back in New Mexico effectively rendered him a pariah dog, an untouchable, although, and even then, the Obama justice department still did him the huge inside-the party-favor-for-a-minority of derailing the investigation. Do you understand folks that under this black-minority administration that even though you have bilked your state out of hundreds of millions and funneled it to your political cronies, because you are half-Hispanic, one of the protected class, you will suffer no consequences from this Obama justice department?  

Corruption is rampant and institutionalized at the highest levels of the Democrat party wherever they are in charge. Look at Chicago, Detroit and now, Washington D.C.

We need to vote them out then put them back in. In prison that is.
