Helen, Hitler and Hezb'allah

Helen Thomas has never held back her animus for Israel. She finally lets go the brutal truth and tells Jews: Go home to Germany. She doesn't mention gas chambers, but Thomas, a correspondent for over 57 years, knows what her message means.

Thomas has spent much of her time as a White House correspondent launching anti-Israel assaults. Her Israel condemnation is so immediate that then-press secretary Tony Snow to describe her perspective as "the Hezb'allah view." In fact, at a press conference last week, she chastised current press secretary Robert Gibbs about his need to wait for facts before condemning Israel. Helen Thomas to Gibbs: Why didn't you immediately jump to conclusions about this 'deliberate massacre' like I did?"

Thomas is not some doddering old aunt, who must be tolerated despite her peccadilloes. She is a power player in Washington D.C. In fact, just a few weeks ago, she was the headliner at Representative Jan Schakowky's "Power Lunch." Schakowksy (D-IL 9th), who has embraced virulently anti-Semitic leaders such as the ousted President of Honduras Manuel Zelaya, who blamed Israel and Jews for Hondurna problems, gushed over Ms. Thomas: She's so awesome.

Helen Thomas has been the darling of Jan Schakowsky and the far left. Helen's fondness for Hezb'allah seemed to bring out their admiration rather than condemnation. Today Thomas offered her final solution: expelling Jews from the Middle East (and maybe other lands) and sending them to Germany. Will Thomas' sinister statement revolt even the Schakowsky's or will they continue to find Ms. Thomas "so awesome?"
