"Ted Kennedy's impact on education reform has been broad and dramatic, with everyone from MTV to Education Week praising his efforts. In 2001 he teamed up with George W. Bush to gain passage of the No Child Left Behind legislation. Dennis Van Roekel, president of the National Education Association told the LA Times that Kennedy's legacy goes way back-he left ‘an indelible imprint on every major education law passed since the 1960s.'" change.org.
