Ron Paul sees only one tree in the socialism forest

Ron Paul's declaration at the Southern Republican Leadership Conference that Barack Obama is not a socialist has drawn much notice today. The Wall Street Journal reports he said:

"In the technical sense, in the economic definition, he is not a socialist," the Texas Republican said to a smattering of applause at the Southern Republican Leadership Conference.

"He's a corporatist," Paul quickly added, meaning the president takes "care of corporations and corporations take over and run the country."

Yes, HerrDoktorCongressman Paul, those are corporations that Obama is giving money to. But to what effect?  Big Fur Hat of iOwnTheWorld.com put it succinctly:

Try and keep up, Ron. Have you read Rules For Radicals or Cloward/Piven? Here, I'll lay it out for ya. This is step one: Take over the financial institutions. Step Two: Set them up for certain failure. Step Three: When you have created your capitalism crisis be at the ready to plug-in your solution - socialism.
