Government Motors and Detroit Churches
Sundays are a little more exciting in Detroit. As soon as the Pastor shouted Amen the pews were emptied as fast as if someone yelled fire. The doors having been thrown open, congregational members dashed to take that brand new 2010 Buick or Cadillac for a test drive. That's right; GM dealerships are hitting churches in hope of lifting sales. Story has it that the banks were even there. Put some sole to your pedal as you drive away in your brand new Chevrolet.
