Yoo Hoo, Abe (Foxman)
For some time we've been critical of the blinkered vision of Abe Foxman, head of the ADL who seems to be stuck in a time warp, not noticing that the Democratic Party for which he shills has left him at the station.
It appears that Secretary of State Clinton and Vice-President Biden's treatment of Israel is finally opening his eyes. ABC News reports that he's finally said something critical of the least friendly to Israel Administration in history
We are shocked and stunned at the Administration's tone and public dressing down of Israel," Anti-Defamation League director Abraham Foxman said in a statement. "We cannot remember an instance when such harsh language was directed at a friend and ally of the United States."
An Instapundit reader shares our surprise that Abe has awakened from his deep slumber.
Reader Anne Butzen writes:Had to chuckle when I saw that quote from Mr. Foxman. I receive fundraising letters from the ADL now and then, and always marvel at his harangues - to read him, you'd think that Evangelical Christians were the greatest threat to world Jewry today. So this must have come as a terrible shock to him. If it actually causes him to wake up to the real world, though, then it may be a blessing in disguise.[/quote]While Abe was ignoring the evidence about this Administration and this President's animus to Israel and to so many issues of significance to his members--like the racial preference provisions in medical school mandated by the existing health care bills-- how many of his members did he lull into stupidly supporting An Administration which does not mean them well?
