Scientists and politicians alike have criticized the proposed budget cuts... The budget cuts also appear to contradict the Bush administration's global warming priorities... ‘On global warming, the Bush administration fiddles with the funding as the world burns,' said David Doniger, policy director of NRDC's climate center." Weatherization assistance: $5.0 billion.
"Green Buildings": $4.5 billion
Electricity delivery and energy reliability: $4.2 billion
Fossil fuels: $3.2 billion
Total: $35.2 billion
