A plan to increase aid to Haiti
Although the world has been very generous to the people of Haiti since the country suffered a devastating earthquake, compounded by Haiti's corrupt and ineffective government, there is one little trick Haitians could use to get even more aid. They could act like Gaza. As Jacob Shrybman of Y Net News points out, "Amid ‘siege' claims, Gaza enjoying more aid than quake-ravaged Haiti."
Yep. While Israel, the UN, the broke European Union and the US have given "738,576 tons of humanitarian aid being transferred into the Gaza Strip in 2009."
Moreover, the UN has provided $200 million in Gaza Strip aid following a military operation that reportedly claimed 1,300 fatalities amongst a population of less than 1.5 million -
with plans to raise more
it has provided only $10 million to natural disaster victims in Haiti as of the end of January, an earthquake that claimed the lives of over 230,000 people and affected over 3 million. Of course, that is without mentioning that Haitians have not been attacking an innocent nearby civilian population for a near decade.
Aha! " Not...attacking an innocent nearby civilian population for nearly a decade." That's it! As per the Peter Sellers movie The Mouse That Roared, where an impoverished nation decided to attack the US resulting in certain defeat and then being showered with aid as happened with say, our mortal enemies Germany and Japan after World War ll (I know, I know--defeating communism and opening markets for peace were also factors) Haiti could attack southern Florida and blame the many pro Israel Zionist Jewish residents there for causing their misery.
It is bound to work. The usual gang of the UN, the European Union and others eager to believe any lie about Israel/Jews would rush to pour good money down the corrupt Haiti hole just as they do with Gaza while ignoring the negative results. Voila! As long as they can blame Israel the dishonest Haitian government would get untold millions without any restrictions or supervision while their population suffers. It works perfectly for Gazan leaders, why not Haiti?
