MSNBC talker Ed Schultz:'Rip out Cheney's heart.'
Par for the course in liberal La-La Land. Former Vice President Cheney suffered his 5th heart attack and is doing fine, but the left, as usual, is disappointed that Cheney didn't die.
In their typical gentle, and concerned manner, liberals have expressed outrage that Cheney still draws breath. We saw this when the Veep visited Afghanistan and the base he was staying at came under mortar fire. The outpouring of hate and bile at that time was something to see. It got so bad that Huffpo had to close comments on the post.
Well, here's MSNBC's Ed Schultz going off about Cheney, expressing a desire for some Medieval torture:
Liberal talk show host Ed Schultz would like to take the heart of former Vice President Dick Cheney -who is recovering from his fifth heart attack - and "rip it out and kick it around and stuff it back in him."On his radio show Wednesday, Schultz mocked conservatives who have attacked him for going after the health of the former vice president.
"You're damn right, Dick Cheney's heart's a political football," Schultz said in remarks recorded by the media blog Radio Equalizer. "We ought to rip it out and kick it around and stuff it back in him."
Schultz, host of "The Ed Show" on MSNBC, said that he was glad Cheney "didn't tip over" because "he is the new poster child for health care in this country."
"How come Dick Cheney's health care isn't being dropped?" Schultz asked. "Do you realize that if you had five heart attacks, hell, you wouldn't get past two heart attacks and they'd dump you."
Such hyperbole should be rewarded with gigantic ratings, right? Except fewer people watch Ed Schultz on MSNBC than there are visitors to the blog Hot Air every day. When a national cable network show can't outdraw a blog, one might think the problem lies with the host. There just aren't enough loony toons lefties out there to give Schultz the attention his bed wetting deserves.
Maybe if he pulled a Howard Beale, he might juice his ratings a bit. Oh, wait...he already is nutzo.
