Arkansas Democrat Senator, Blanche Lincoln, is in even more trouble than we could hope for. A liberal source informs me that some of her disgruntled lib pals at MoveOn, unhappy with Blanche's tendency to wander off the Democrat's plantation, have put out a feeler email seeking support to oppose her in the Democratic primary. They're proposing to run the current Arkansas lieutenant governor Bill Halter whom the MoveOnners deem to be more acceptably liberal than the incumbent.

If this Soros-seeded, grass roots, opposition movement should take hold and be successful it would eliminate the advantage of incumbency for the Democrats in the Arkansas senate race this fall and give the Republican candidate a better chance to win.
