Trouble at Organizing for America
Politico reports that "Organizing for America," the Obama campaign organization that is supposed to muster grass-roots support for the President's program, is coming under fire from Democrats and disillusioned supporters. The article quotes blogger Micah Sifray who is concerned that the grass roots "had no meaningful say in the creation and structure of Organizing for America, and there is no evidence that OFA is actually driven by anything but what its DNC-paid staff and White House advisers want."
Meanwhile, some Democrat party officials aren't happy with a semi-independent and parallel political organization operating in tandem, and sometimes in conflict, with their own political structures.
We noted back in March that this supposedly grass-roots organization was anything but.
