Pelosi tours the economic wreckage in Detroit
Pelosi and her dozen congressional dwarfs paraded through the Detroit Auto Show this morning. Her appearance in the Motor City was about as welcome as the News in Sweden that GM was throwing Saab under the bus.
From the San Francisco Chronicle, Pelosi was quoted as saying that her trip to Detroit was to check out "the back 40".
Detroit with a current unemployment rate still close to 50% begs the question, who can afford to go to an Auto Show? Pelosi doesn't count. She and her followers are here on tax payers' dollars.
The U.S. government owns nearly 61 percent of General Motors and will likely be seeking additional billions in dollars from American taxpayers in 2010.
Maybe Obama didn't hear us the first time. Jobs! Jobs! JOBS!
