Bin Laden scolds the west over global warming

Add Osama Bin Laden to the growing list of Third world tyrants and despots who use the narrative of US-induced climate change to weaken American influence abroad and to redistribute the world's wealth:

Osama bin Laden has lashed out at the U.S. and all industrial nations for causing climate change, saying ending global dependence on the American dollar would be the way to solve the problem.

In a brief audiotape aired on Al Jazeera television, bin Laden blamed the West for causing hunger and other disasters across the globe, and said the danger of climate change was "not an ideological luxury but a reality."

Were the history not so haunting and the catastrophes so real, the prospect of Osama Bin Laden blaming anyone for causing hunger or disasters would be laughable. Sociopathic realities aside, the real question that emerges regarding climate change is why has the Left in America largely picked up the historical narrative of Osama Bin Laden, Fidel Castro, and Hugo Chavez when it comes to the greatest force for good in modern history: the United States?

Redistribution schemes doth make strange bedfellows.
