Biden meeting on transparency closed to the public
This headline in the Los Angeles Times does seem to sum up the Obama-Biden open style of government.
Joe Biden update: He meets on transparency today. But the meeting is closedIndeed, as the blog points out, most of the meetings that the president and vice president openly and transparently list are closed to the press. But they openly and transparently mention them so this means that the administration is open and transparent.
In fact, today's Biden schedule highlight is a meeting with the chief of transparency for economic recovery. But, unfortunately, the transparency meeting is non-transparent, closed to the press. (See his full schedule below.) Which makes it -- what? -- secret openness? Open secrecy?
You got problems with that?
