Speculating about Barbara Boxer
One of the surest signs of whether a government official may have something to hide in Climategate, the ACORN scandal or any other controversy is that their first reaction to the scandal is to target the source exposing the scandal.
California Senator Barbara Boxer said at a committee hearing, "You call it 'Climategate'; I call it 'E-mail-theft-gate.'"
When a United States senator is more concerned about email hacking than a scandal or fraud potentially on the scale of trillions of dollars, changes in government policies affecting businesses and personal liberties, and even what school children learn, I'd want to see her stock portfolio.
Leave the email hacking investigation to Joe Friday.
Personally, I prefer Lord Monckton's approach.
