Analyze This

In the comedy, Analyze This, psychiatrist Ben Sobel (Billy Crystal) finds himself to be psychological nursemaid for mafia boss man Paul Vitti (Robert DeNiro). The various humor scenes throughout the movie build off the violent life of DeNiro contrasted with the cerebral and passive world of Crystal and his psychiatry.

Because psychiatrists are scientists of diagnosing and treating mental disorders, we are lead to believe they should have better control over their own actions. We would assume psychiatrists could never be violent mass murderers, yet psychiatrist Major Nidal Hasan turned Fort Hood into a graveyard. Perhaps pure hate trumps all reason.

Hasan left a trail of hate (that is beginning to come out) and everyone looked the other way. He set out to kill as many innocents as he could and succeeded. He screamed Allahu Akbar! (God is great!) during his carnage.

There is a crazy man in Iran who has a trail of hate and threatens to blow Israel off the map in the name of Allahu Akbar (while everyone pretends not to hear him). His name is Ahmadinejad and he is not even a psychiatrist.
