Victory is Near!
The Washington Post reports this morning that the Pentagon is deploying 13,000 new troops to Afghanistan. (Article here.) The President has made a decision!
Our troops in the field can now breathe a sigh of relief. They are going to get 30% of the troops requested by their commander. No doubt we will soon declare victory and abandon leave Afghanistan. After all, how could a bunch of tribal warriors 12,000 miles away possibly pose a threat to America?
