Iranian protestors being tortured and worse
Michael Ledeen has a painful report about the mass rape, torture and execution of several hundred Iranian protesters.
These are the Western-minded young people we saw in peaceful demonstrations in the streets of Tehran. I remember one iconic picture of a beautiful young Iranian woman, maybe in her 20s, raising her hand straight up, like the Statue of Liberty. Like most of the protesters you could tell from her dress that she refused to wear the burqa. The huge meetings of Mousavi supporters were full of people with bare arms in the summer heat.
Hundreds of those people have now been tortured, raped en masse, and executed, according to Ledeen's sources. It is a crime against humanity happening right in front of the world press and the Obama administration.
And the Obama dministration and the entire Left is silent. Obama is planning another outreach to the torturers. A measure of the blackness of their souls.
