Nanny state knows best?
There are multiple accounts this morning of the Centers for Disease Control calling for taxes on food and soda pop in order to pay for health care reform. But this quote from the CDC chief is what caught my eye:
"Reversing obesity is not going to be done successfully with individual effort."
Look how effortlessly they remove personal responsibility and individual actions from the table. Thus giving the government license to tax our products and control our lives.
