Too Audacious to Hope?

Suddenly, the good guys seem to be winning elections.  (Or at least the bad guys are losing them.)

First, Europe got more conservative, from Germany, France, Italy, and Belgium, to Britain and Spain.

Second, Lebanon's voters rejected Hezb'allah and elected a pro-Western parliament.

Third, Ahmadinejad's re-election could be in trouble in Iran.

Also, the Rasmussen daily Presidential Tracking Poll had the "Presidential Approval Index" down to zero on Friday (although it is now back up to +3).  Obama's total approval rating is 53% (as of Sunday night), the lowest he's ever had.

Could it be?  Does sanity still have a pulse?  There's a long way to go, but this a lot of good news to start out the week.
