ElBaradei: strike on Iran nukes 'completely insane'
Mohammed ElBaradei, the head of the UN atomic agency, warns Israel that an attack on Iran's nuclear facility would be "completely insane" and "would turn the region into one big fireball."
His version of sanity:
"I think Freeze for Freeze is the next realistic step. The Iranians would install no more centrifuges, the West would forego further sanction measures. During this time, there would be intensive negotiations."
That's right: loosen pressure on the mullahs, and then negotiate. Somehow that is supposed to make them give up on their announced plans to wipe Israel off the map.
Israel should just trust people who wish to hasten the Twelfth Imam and his cleansing fire, ending the world?
That sounds completely insane to me.
