Another Obama Nominee Has Tax Troubles
The list gets longer. Ron Kirk, Obama’s nominee for U.S. Trade Representative, owes some $10,000 in back taxes. According to the Dallas/Fort Worth Fox News channel:
Ron Kirk, nominated as U.S. Trade Representative in the Obama administration, owes an estimated $10,000 in back taxes from earlier in the decade and has agreed to make his payments, the Senate Finance Committee said Monday.
Despite the error, Sen. Max Baucus, D-Mont., chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, issued a statement calling Kirk "the right person for this job," and said he would attempt to have the nomination moved through the panel quickly.
Did you read that last sentence? Democrat senators in charge of vetting Obama’s nominees simply don’t care if the nominees pay their taxes. The nomination process, under this Democrat Senate, is blatantly immoral and borderline criminal. If this is politics as usual in America … then America is finished as a nation of laws.

Some wag suggested that the President was nominating so many tax chiselers to his Administration as a means of increasing revenue as they are compelled to pay what they owe back to the U.S. Treasury before being confirmed for office. If so, his neat revenue raising scheme is still in effect |
