Daschle should follow his own advice
John Pitney at The Corner of National Review Online discovered an almost 11 year old quote from a prominent politician who seems to agree with Clarice Feldman and Dan Riehl, on the proper punishment for those who fail to pay taxes.
“Make no mistake, tax cheaters cheat us all, and the IRS should enforce our laws to the letter. ” (Congressional Record, May 7, 1998, p. S4507, Senator Tom Daschle (D-SD))
For that Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner and wannabe Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Daschle? Are you both ready to carry out your philosophies?
