Roland Burris advocated 'reparations' for slavery
Grab your wallets! Blago's guy Roland Burris has a history of advocating payments to black Americans as "reparations for slavery. Internet sleuth extraordinaire Steve Gilbert has unearthed from the years 2000, 2004, and 2005 in which senator-designate Roland Burris argued for such payments.
I wonder if in his scheme Barack Obama qualifies for reparations? His ancestors were never slaves in the United States, though it is claimed they probably owned slaves in Kenya. Just wondering.
Is this hope and change we can believe in?
