Only one president-elect at a time
It turns out that the presidency is a pretty thorny job after all. It's hard to be all things to all people, and "change" and "hope" are not policies. Who knew?
Barack Obama is already taking flack from the Muslim world. Powerline notices that in Indonesia Muslim protestors are wearing Obama masks (the picture with a cigarette dangling out his mouth that the American media suppressed during the campaign) along with Mubarak and Olmert masks, angry that Obama has not sided with the Palestinians.
When it suits him, Barack Obama remains silent about pressing matters like Gaza, solemnly intoning the mantra that there is only one president at a time. So why does he plan a major press conference on his economic plans?
And why this pre-inauguration photo?
