The return of Eliot Spitzer
Eliot L. Spitzer (remember him?) returns with an op ed in the Washington Post titled
How to Ground The Street
The Former 'Enforcer' On the Best Way to Keep Financial Markets in Check.
Oh go ahead, make your own jokes; these troubled times deserve a bit of laughter. If you don't remember Spitzer the WaPo helpfully identifies him
Eliot L. Spitzer was governor of New York from 2007-08 and state attorney general from 1999-2006.
But the WaPo somehow forgot to mention that Spitzer was/is a Democrat. But you knew that because his party affiliation was not included. Nor did they mention that he had to resign in disgrace.
But you knew that too.
