Auctioning off the middle class

"Ladies and gentlemen, if you elect me president I, Barack Hussein Obama promise that the middle class will receive a tax cut and only those that have the audacity to earn over $250,000 will see a tax increase."

"Not enough takers?  Alright ladies and gentlemen, a new lower bid.  If you elect me president I, Barack Hussein Obama promise that the middle class will receive a tax cut and only those that have the audacity to earn over $200,000 will see a tax increase."

"Still no winning bids? C'mon folks! Step right up and vote on the dotted line. What've you got to lose? Alright then, how about a new lower bid.  If you elect me vice president I, Joseph Biden, a serial plagiarizer, promise that the middle class will receive a tax cut and only those that have the audacity to earn over $150,000 will see a tax increase."

"Ladies and gentlemen let's lower the definition of the wealthy who must be punished and deserve a tax increase to spread the wealth around even more.  I'm failed Democratic  presidential wannabe and now New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson and I'm telling you

"What Obama wants to do is he is basically looking at $120,000 and under among those that are in the middle class, and there is a tax cut for those,"

There are many hard working dual income couples who earn over $120,000 including teachers, nurses, police officers and government workers living in highly taxed areas which have an equally high cost of living who would be surprised to learn that they're considered wealthy.  Who will be the next Democrat to lower the definition of wealthy to any hard working dual income couple with the audacity of each to make $50,000?

The Democratic definition of wealthy is widening all the time and isn't over yet.  And if you're wealthy you must be punished with a tax increase so Barack Obama and the Democratic party can spread your wealth around.

Jennifer Rubin of Commentary:

It is unclear because both the MSM and the McCain “oppo” research has been so utterly deficient in bringing to light, until the eleventh hour, any persuasive information that might contradict Obama’s newly moderated agenda. It would have been nice to have that little nugget at the debate, or for a few weeks of ads. Some daring reporter might even have brought it up during one of those hard-hitting interviews. Well, if there had been any such interviews, I’m sure this would have been an item.

No one is going to be surprised when Obama comes out a few months after the election and declares that because things are such a mess thanks to George Bush, the government will have to increase taxes on just about everybody.

But by then, it will be too late.
