More Democratic Foot in Mouth Disease
Proving that foot in mouth disease can run in families, South Carolina Democratic chair Carol Fowler proclaimed
John McCain had chosen a running mate "whose primary qualification seems to be that she hasn’t had an abortion.”
Ms Fowler's husband, Don Fowler, who served as chair of the Democratic National Committee during the Clinton years just recently divined when Hurricane Gustav coincided with the beginning of Republican National Convention
"The hurricane's going to hit New Orleans about the time they (the GOP) start. The timing is -- at least it appears now that it'll be there Monday. That just demonstrates that God's on our side. [Laughter] Everything's cool."
Like her husband, Ms Fowler uttered the obligatory lame apology, shoving her foot deeper down her throat.
I clumsily was making a point about people in South Carolina who may vote based on a single issue. Whether it’s the environment, the economy, the war or a woman’s right to choose, there are people who will cast their vote based on a single issue. That was the only point I was attempting to make."
Oh.
Carol Fowler really does not seem to understand women who achieve success through their own talents rather than through marriage or that other women admire those who do so.

Told of McCain's boost in the new ABC/Washington Post among white women following the Palin pick, Fowler said: "Just anecdotally, I believe that those white women are Republican women anyway."
Uhm, Ms Fowler, you just mentioned single issue voters. And there are many, many women, Democratic, Independent and Republican who are so single issue that they admire Governor Palin for her accomplishments, her beliefs.
Please tell that to your husband. But first, both of you remove your feet from your mouths.
