Huffpo writer sees impeachment as 'only answer' to 'Bush Coup'
Is the bailout of the financial system a sign that the "Bush Coup" against America is almost complete.
Larisa Alexandrovna at Huffington Post thinks so:
In 2000, the long fought for and long admired democracy of the United States of America began a slow and steady decline toward fascism - a Bush family tradition - with the installment of a president - a man the citizens overwhelmingly rejected (although the funny math told a still believed myth) - by a few corrupt judges on the US Supreme Court. That coup is now nearly complete and checkmate is all but unavoidable.Let me first point you to the Bush administration's so-called Wall Street bailout bill, here, so that you can see for yourself that this treachery is being conducted in the light of day. Fascism is finally and formally out of the right-wing closet even if the F word is not yet openly being used (although it should be, and often).
I can think of at least one other "F" word to describe Ms. Alexandrovna's fantasy. But this being a family site, I will forgoe the barnyard epithets and instead point out that the if we are headed for fascism, it will be with the full and complete agreement by most Democratic members of Congress. Now either they don't quite see the situation the same way Ms. Alexandrovna does, or they have secretly been paid off by the Bushies to vote the president dictatorial powers.
The advantage of making unbelievable statements like the author does above is that you don't need a shred of evidence for your fantasies in order to get a whole helluva a lot of dimwitted lefties to agree with you.
Case in point: How's that military draft going, guys? Have you discovered how Bush was able to cause the earthquake that resulted in the Christmas tsunamies a few years ago? And by the way, I thought we were already a fascist state considering the amount of digitial ink spilled on websites across the leftosphere that have insisted that American democracy has been dead for years.
This kind of deranged thinking isn't confined to the left, of course. The right has their own bozo's and nincompoops who are constantly positing conspiracies about something (see Ron Paul). But for sheer entertainment, you can't do better than a good liberal like Alexandrovna solemnly telling the rest of us that up is down, black is white, and yes Larisa, there is a Santa Claus.
