Obama's Tigritude
Barack Obama, perhaps thinking that no one has noticed, keeps hoping that John McCain will tell the world that Obama's black. Actually, he's more a man of tan.
In politics, stating the racial obvious for political gain is called "playing the race card."
McCain has no need to and will not play the race card because, like Wole Soyinka, McCain knows what Obama does not: "a tiger does not shout its tigritude,... it acts."
Unfortunately for Obama, his résumé, aka the history of his acts, is extremely thin. Therefore, what is left him?
Shouting his tigritude, which Obama, similar to race hustlers like Jackson and Sharpton, has a history of doing.
As for his acts as a post-racial tiger, which Obama desperately wants us to believe he is,...
