My European vacation
Old buildings, small cars, good drivers, thin attractive women, weak looking young men, high prices with weak dollar (e.g.,2.1 to 1 in UK), more old buildings, dead churches (representing many old buildings), good food, packed McDonalds (?), not many old people where the tourist are, not many old tourists, miserable airline service on AA, fewer people smoking on streets than expected, more high prices, talented bus drivers able to thread needles, tourist in UK down 6% over last year, not much interest perceived in what Russia is doing -- Europe asleep, don't try to find a location in Paris at night, many statues of dead guys, old ceiling paintings of dead guys and gals in costume, little ice in Diet Coke, gas at 9 - 11 USD per gallon, highways running N & S but not so much E & W so as to impede further invasions I suppose, French roads suck, Germany's good, FIAT makes a fine automobile, FORD selling their crap cars in the US -- better cars over there, cheap good wine, no young girls to speak of wearing tattoos -- must be a US thing, beautiful coastlines, old Florence an open sewer, wonderful train systems -- went from Paris to London under the Channel in about 2 hrs, SKY News better than CNN Int'l. Love the UK Times.
