Did the Obama campaign 'play' Judaism's most holy spot
Maariv, the Israeli newspaper that was criticized for publishing the note Obama left in the Western Wall (the "Wailing Wall"), now claims the note was leaked to it by the Obama campaign.
Israel Insider reports:
a Maariv spokesperson says that publication of the note was pre-approved for international publication by the Obama campaign, leading to the conclusion that the "private" prayer was intentionally leaked for public consumption.
Was BO's note left at the Wailing Wall simply a note to self? The Messiah's new duck and cover?
One certainly has to wonder, the note reads:
"Lord - Protect my family and me," reads the note."Forgive me my sins, and help me guard against pride and despair.Give me the wisdom to do what is right and just. And make me an instrument of your will."
If only he meant it, as anything other than another campaign prop....
The forensics on his campaign might very well be:
"It was the pride (arrogance) stupid."
