Czech President offers to debate Gore on global warming
Czech President Vaclav Klaus has offered to debate Gore on global warming. Considering that Klaus would be debating in a second language, he is handicapping himself at the outset. Also, he is a politician not a scientist, so he meets Gore on equal ground. Let's see if Gore accepts.
Otis Glazebrook adds: There was speculation that one reason Al Gore did not announce for the presidency this year was that he wanted to avoid detailed critical scrutiny of his global warming assertions. Expect him to pretend this challenge does not exist.
